The game asks for fullscreen when the expedition begins. Browsers may reserve Escape to leave browser fullscreen; the Field System opens immediately afterward.

Repair the skiff, escape the starter island, and survive a seeded open archipelago filled with generated wildlife, infected horrors, strange fish, and impossible weapons.
Advanced work now happens at the station you placed in the world.
The same container-style interface used by chests and gravestones. Select an item to equip, use, inspect, modify, or break it down.
Only emergency items can be made anywhere. Use placed stations for forging, weapons, engines, cooking, upgrades and repairs.
Place the world objects you need. Walk up to each completed station and press E to use its dedicated interface.
See the active item, durability, next upgrade, and service action before spending materials.
Your base expedition pack is always installed. Jump once, press Space again while airborne, then hold to ignite. Upgrade modules alter lift, fuel efficiency, movement and weapon systems.

Return to mouse-look and capture the pointer. Escape, M, or Tab opens this menu.
One pointer-lock handler prevents doubled movement after menus. Home recenters the view.
Balanced is the default. Lighting, reflections, bloom, sharpening, and contact shadows are enabled unless the player disables them.
These client-only settings never change multiplayer authority. Auto budgets lower background populations before frame rate collapses, while handheld HUD keeps important panels readable at 1280×800 and tablet sizes.
35 minutes of sunshine followed by 10 minutes of night. Fresh and upgraded expeditions begin at midday.
Testing tools for this EXP branch. Rolls and supplies are saved normally, so reset the expedition when you are finished testing.
